I was invited to attend the Women Regional Network East Africa retreat in Ngong Hills in Kenya in November 2023. The theme of this retreat was ‘voices and action for peace TOGETHER’. During the retreat we formed new relationships, shared our common goals and challenges, engaged in self-care and mindfulness and discussed incidents of SGBV in our communities and a strategy for tackling this through collective research and documentation.
